3D Computer Aided Design in Engineering
The course has been designed to provide learners with the essential skills in how to use Computer Aided Design software in 3D.
The Core Component:
The learner will study how engineering objects are designed in 3D CAD allowing the learner to develop and practise the skills required for employment in the broad engineering and Manufacturing sector.
You will work mainly in the Engineering classrooms on the computers. Here you will learn how the software Inventor is used within the engineering sector to create your own 3D drawings then incorporating this with the use of out state of the art 3D printers.
You will be interviewed for this course, should be enthusiastic about working in the engineering sector. Have an understanding of information technology and computers and basic knowledge of Computer Aided Design.
You will be assessed through a variety of assessment methods including discussions, displays, case studies, presentations.
On successful completion of this qualification, you can progress into: employment or further education courses. This can support your development and future enhance your career opportunities.
